When Oral Appliance Therapy (OTA) is recommended to treat your condition, or if you are unable to tolerate a CPAP, our Dentists proscribe and fit an oral appliance- similar to a retainer or sports mouthguard- which opens your airway by positioning the lower jaw slightly forward of its usual rest position, enabling an open airway while you sleep.

Dr. Lon R. Kessler
Dr. Lon R. Kessler is the Founder of Better Sleep Solutions, LLC. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, a qualification held by fewer than 1% of dentists in the United States. Dr. Kessler is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and has completed their Mastery Program. He is also the founder of Kessler Dental Associates, a family and cosmetic dentistry practice located in Phoenixville, PA. Dr. Kessler has over 30 years of experience in the field of Dentistry. A graduate of Rutgers University, Dr. Kessler earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He completed additional training at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
A snorer and sleep apnea sufferer himself, Dr. Kessler understands the frustration, confusion and worry that patients suffer when they first decide to seek treatment, often due to excessive daytime sleepiness or a bed partner's complaints about their snoring.
